Steven Poster, Around the Edges

Exhibition organized through Katharine T. Carter & Associates Steven Poster attended SIUC in the Cinema & Photography Department in the early 1960s. He went on to establish himself in Los Angeles as a renowned cinematographer, working on such varied films as Blade Runner, Close Encounters of the Third Kind and Stewart Little 2. For this exhibition he shows his large-scale black and white photographs from the past four decades, ranging from urban subjects to haunting rural scenes.

This annual event has been a part of the Museum's schedule for over 30 years. Each year the art faculty has shown their latest work. Artists in the School of Art & Design, the Department of Cinema & Photography and the School of Architecture display their artworks.
