The George R. Letourneau Home Museum, located in Bourbonnais, Illinois, is preserved to commemorate both the first mayor of the village and one of the oldest surviving structures in Bourbonnais.

Originally located on the outskirts of Bourbonnais on Route 102 one half block northwest of the present Dairy Queen, the Letourneau home fell victim to encroaching civilization and by 1985 was slated for demolition. Due to the efforts of the Bourbonnais Grove Historical Society and several concerned citizens, the home was moved to its present site in 1986. Archaeological research at the original site, though limited, resulted in a wide range of cultural material about the house and the lives of early Bourbonnais residents. More information can be gained by a visit to the house on Stratford Drive East.

The Bourbonnais Grove Historical Society, instrumental in saving, relocating, and restoring this link to Bourbonnais's roots, opens the house to the public on the first and third Sundays of the month.
