When the First Green Things Pop Up
This program introduces the wild food gatherers and preparers, herb doctors,
and medicinal root diggers of the Shawnee Hill Region. Through their own
words, they share knowledge of some of the plants harvested during the
spring months, and some wild food recipes and home remedies
Music Sounds of Yesterday
This audio-visual program shows musical instruments from the late 1800's
and early 1900's. Includes song sheets of this period. Collected by Naoma
Williams and Claudine Bradley

Hearts and Homes: Ethnic Architecture of Southern
Illinois
This program shows how ethnic groups changed the landscape of southern
Illinois. The program includes a slide/script program, a display, information
booklets, and a simulation game. Produced with a Illinois Humanities Council
minigrant.
